Sh. Atoll School is located in Sh. Kanditheemu. The construction of the school began in 1985 with a grant from the Japanese government. On January 23, 1986, the school was Inaugurated by the Minister of Education Hon'ble Mohamed Zahir Hussain. The school had grade classes and a special class at the beginning. In 1998, business stream studies began at the secondary stage. For the first time, school students appeared for an O’level examination in 2000. The 2002 academic year began with the introduction of the science stream in the school with science classes. With the introduction of preschool education in 2016, the school has become a single session, two-stream school in secondary from LKG to Grade 10.
