Gemanafushi School was founded as a community school on 30th June 1980 and was originally known as Gemanafushi Makthab until August 2005. In 2005, the school’s name was changed to Gemanafushi School, and it transitioned to government ownership . Over the past few years Gemanafushi School has been steadfastly progressing in implementing pioneering extracurricular activities making it one of the leading schools in Gaaf Alif Atoll. We have also been placed on national records for our achievements in IGCSE/GCE examinations in recent years.
