Common uses

  • angina pectoris — add-on when other treatments insufficient or not tolerated

Cautions

  • EU review restricted use — angina add-on only
  • no longer authorised for tinnitus, vertigo or vision problems
  • can cause movement disorders such as Parkinsonian symptoms
  • new contraindications added to manage movement-disorder risk
