Common uses

open-angle glaucoma
high pressure in the eye (ocular hypertension)

Common side effects

eye redness

Cautions

can permanently darken the coloured part of the eye (iris)
eyelid darkening and eyelash changes can occur
not recommended for children under 16

Pregnancy: only if prescribed — potential risk to the baby
