Common uses

steroid-responsive eye inflammation with bacterial infection risk

Common side effects

eyelid itching and swelling
eye redness

Cautions

not for viral, fungal or mycobacterial eye infections
prolonged use can raise eye pressure (glaucoma) and cause cataracts
prolonged use can allow secondary eye infections
for eye use only — never injected
