bleeding

Cautions

can cause serious bleeding — stopped if bleeding is uncontrolled
not with active bleeding or recent major surgery/trauma
can cause a sudden drop in platelets
dose reduced with severe kidney impairment

Interactions

clot-busters, anticoagulants and other antiplatelet drugs (more bleeding risk)

Pregnancy: limited data — no established risk; heart attack itself is the emergency
