Common side effects

abdominal pain
feeling sick
breathing failure
diarrhoea
breathlessness

Cautions

boxed warning: can cause serious or fatal breathing failure
oxygen levels monitored continuously during treatment
can cause heart, limb or gut ischemia (poor blood flow)
side effects may make a patient ineligible for liver transplant

Pregnancy: avoid — may harm the developing baby
