Antibiotic cream, ointment and eye drops for skin and eye infections.

Clinical information

Common uses

bacterial eye infections (eye drops)
bacterial skin infections such as impetigo (cream or ointment)

Common side effects

dry, sore, itchy or stinging eyes (drops)
temporary blurred vision (drops)
mild skin irritation (cream or ointment, uncommon)

Cautions

finish the full course to stop infection returning
avoid driving while vision is blurred
call a doctor if the infection worsens or hives appear

Pregnancy: safe to use in pregnancy
