Clinical information

Common uses

advanced triple-negative breast cancer
advanced HR-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer

Common side effects

low blood cell counts
feeling sick and diarrhoea
tiredness
hair loss
constipation or vomiting

Cautions

can cause severe, life-threatening low neutrophils (boxed warning)
can cause severe diarrhoea (boxed warning)
severe infusion or allergic reactions possible
higher risk with reduced UGT1A1 enzyme activity

Interactions

UGT1A1 inhibitors — avoid
UGT1A1 inducers — avoid

Pregnancy: avoid — can harm an unborn baby; use effective contraception
