  • dizziness
  • hypersensitivity reactions
  • factor VIII inhibitors in previously untreated patients

Cautions

  • allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis, possible
  • the body can develop antibodies that stop it working
  • not for von Willebrand disease
  • contains hamster protein traces — allergy risk
