Clinical information

Common uses

advanced stomach or gastro-oesophageal junction cancer
metastatic non-small cell lung cancer
metastatic colorectal cancer
advanced liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma)

Common side effects

high blood pressure
diarrhoea
tiredness and weakness
low white blood cells
nosebleeds

Cautions

can cause severe, sometimes fatal bleeding
gastrointestinal perforation can occur
impairs wound healing — stopped around surgery
blood pressure and urine protein monitored

Pregnancy: avoid — can harm an unborn baby; use effective contraception
