Clinical information

Common uses

blood vessel spasm (heart, brain, limbs)
colic spasm of gut, bile duct or ureter

Common side effects

flushing of the face
feeling sick or stomach discomfort
headache
dizziness (vertigo)
sweating

Cautions

not for use with complete heart block
not for injection into the penis — persistent priapism reported
liver inflammation reported rarely
