Common side effects

  • mouth, teeth or jaw problems
  • hiccups or irregular heartbeat can occur — stop and see a doctor

Cautions

  • ask a doctor first if heart disease, high blood pressure, ulcer or diabetes
  • overdose signs: nausea, vomiting, dizziness, weakness, rapid heartbeat
  • gum has enough nicotine to harm children and pets

Interactions

  • non-nicotine stop-smoking medicines
  • prescription medicines for depression or asthma
