Common side effects

feeling sick

Cautions

never take while still using opioids — triggers severe withdrawal
can injure the liver at high doses
opioid painkillers and opioid cough or diarrhoea remedies will not work

Interactions

opioid-containing medicines (their effect is blocked)
disulfiram (combined liver strain)
thioridazine (lethargy and drowsiness)
