Clinical information

Common uses

  • impetigo caused by staph or strep bacteria

Common side effects

  • burning, stinging or pain
  • itching

Cautions

  • avoid contact with the eyes
  • not for use inside the nose or on mucosal surfaces
  • stop if severe irritation or allergic reaction occurs
  • avoid large open wounds if kidneys are impaired

Pregnancy: insufficient data — very little is absorbed through skin
