Clinical information

Common uses

stimulating follicle development in severe LH and FSH deficiency
given once daily with FSH, under fertility specialists

Common side effects

injection-site pain, redness or bruising
headache
feeling sick, vomiting, diarrhoea
abdominal or pelvic pain
ovarian hyperstimulation, ovarian cyst, breast pain

Cautions

not with pituitary, hypothalamic, breast, womb or ovarian tumours
not with unexplained vaginal bleeding or ovarian enlargement
ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome can occur
