Common uses

chronic lymphocytic leukaemia/small lymphocytic lymphoma
Waldenstrom's macroglobulinaemia
chronic graft-versus-host disease

Common side effects

diarrhoea
tiredness
muscle and bone pain
bruising
low blood counts

Cautions

can cause serious bleeding
increased risk of infections
heart rhythm problems, heart failure and sudden death reported
can harm an unborn baby

Interactions

strong CYP3A inhibitor medicines (dose change needed)
strong CYP3A inducer medicines (avoid)

Pregnancy: avoid — can harm an unborn baby
