Common uses

immunisation against pandemic H1N1 2009 influenza, age 4 and older

Common side effects

injection site reactions
mild allergic reactions such as rash
flu-like symptoms

Cautions

not for people with severe egg allergy
tell your doctor if Guillain-Barré syndrome followed a previous flu vaccine
may work less well in people with weakened immune systems

Interactions

immunosuppressant medicines — may reduce the vaccine response
not mixed with other vaccines in the same syringe
