Clinical information

Common uses

excessive underarm sweating (primary axillary hyperhidrosis), age 9 and older

Common side effects

dry mouth
blurred vision
headache
trouble passing urine
skin redness, burning or itching

Cautions

not for people with glaucoma or certain bowel or bladder conditions
heat illness possible — take care in hot environments
do not drive or use machinery if vision blurs
caution with a history of urinary retention

Interactions

other anticholinergic medicines — avoid; additive side effects
