Clinical information

Common uses

high blood pressure
heart failure, added to standard treatment

Common side effects

cough
dizziness
nausea or vomiting
headache
fatigue

Cautions

can harm an unborn baby — stop as soon as pregnancy detected
angioedema (face, tongue or throat swelling) can be fatal
can cause marked low blood pressure, especially if dehydrated
rare liver failure and white blood cell problems

Interactions

diuretics (risk of excessive blood pressure drop)

Pregnancy: avoid — harmful to the unborn baby
