Clinical information

Common uses

  • metastatic breast cancer after prior chemotherapy
  • unresectable or metastatic liposarcoma

Common side effects

  • low white blood cells
  • anaemia
  • tiredness
  • hair loss
  • nerve pain or numbness

Cautions

  • blood counts monitored — infection risk
  • nerve damage (peripheral neuropathy) may need dose changes
  • can affect heart rhythm (QT prolongation)
  • can harm an unborn baby

Pregnancy: avoid — can harm an unborn baby
