Durvalumab (Imfinzi) is a PD-L1 immunotherapy for lung and several other cancers.

Clinical information

Common uses

non-small cell and small cell lung cancer
biliary tract cancer and liver cancer (combinations)
endometrial cancer (mismatch repair deficient)
bladder and gastric cancers (combinations)

Common side effects

fatigue
nausea and constipation
rash
musculoskeletal pain
cough and breathlessness (lung cancer patients)

Cautions

immune-mediated inflammation of lungs, bowel, liver or glands can be fatal
infusion-related reactions can occur
serious complications after allogeneic stem-cell transplant
can harm an unborn baby

Pregnancy: avoid — can harm an unborn baby; use effective contraception
