- non-metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer
- metastatic castration-sensitive prostate cancer
- with docetaxel in metastatic prostate cancer
Common side effects
- tiredness
- raised liver enzymes
- low white blood cell counts
- constipation
- rash
Cautions
- heart disease may worsen — heart risk factors need managing
- consider stopping if a seizure occurs
- can harm an unborn baby — male partners need contraception
Interactions
- combined P-gp and strong or moderate CYP3A inducers — avoid
- combined P-gp and strong CYP3A inhibitors — extra monitoring
- BCRP substrate drugs — avoid where possible
- OATP1B1/OATP1B3 substrate drugs — levels may rise
Pregnancy: not for use in women — can harm an unborn baby
