An antibody injection (with hyaluronidase) for multiple myeloma and AL amyloidosis.

Clinical information

Common uses

multiple myeloma (alone or in combinations)
high-risk smoldering multiple myeloma
light chain (AL) amyloidosis (in combination)

Common side effects

upper respiratory tract infection
fatigue
diarrhoea and constipation
musculoskeletal pain
rash and injection site reactions

Cautions

serious allergic and administration reactions can occur
serious, sometimes fatal infections
low white cells and platelets — regular blood monitoring
interferes with blood-bank crossmatching — inform blood bank

Pregnancy: avoid — can harm the baby; use effective contraception
