symptomatic idiopathic decline in mental capacity over age 60
some patients with dementia-related conditions

Common side effects

transient nausea
stomach disturbances

Cautions

reversible causes of decline must be excluded first
not for acute or chronic psychosis
benefit should be reviewed continually
