Common side effects

feeling sleepy, tired and weak
dizziness or faintness on standing
dry mouth
constipation
headaches

Cautions

do not stop suddenly — blood pressure can rise dangerously
tell your doctor about heart, kidney or circulation problems
mention any history of depression
do not drive if sleepy or dizzy

Interactions

beta blockers and other heart or blood pressure medicines
antidepressants or antipsychotics
NSAIDs such as ibuprofen
muscle relaxants (baclofen, tizanidine)
sleeping tablets and sedatives
methylphenidate (ADHD)
