Clinical information

Common uses

travel sickness and seasickness
vertigo and nausea in Ménière's disease

Common side effects

feeling very sleepy
heartburn, bloating and feeling sick
weight gain

Cautions

do not drive if drowsy
check first if you have glaucoma, epilepsy or Parkinson's disease
not usually used when breastfeeding
best not to drink alcohol with it

Interactions

strong painkillers such as tramadol
amitriptyline (migraine and nerve pain)
sleeping pills such as zopiclone
anxiety medicines such as diazepam
