Clinical information

Common uses

chronic lymphocytic leukaemia
malignant lymphomas including Hodgkin's disease

Cautions

severely suppresses bone marrow (boxed warning)
carcinogenic — can itself cause leukaemia (boxed warning)
causes infertility, which may be permanent (boxed warning)
stop promptly if a skin rash develops

Pregnancy: avoid — can harm an unborn baby
