Clinical information

Common uses

  • preventing premature LH surges in controlled ovarian stimulation

Common side effects

  • ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome
  • nausea
  • headache
  • injection site redness, bruising or itching

Cautions

  • not for use in pregnancy or while breastfeeding
  • not for severe kidney impairment
  • prescribed by fertility specialists; pregnancy ruled out first

Pregnancy: do not use — contraindicated in pregnancy
