dizziness
drowsiness
unsteadiness
feeling sick
vomiting

Cautions

serious skin reactions and blood disorders — boxed warning
can harm an unborn baby, including spina bifida
not with a history of bone marrow depression
do not stop suddenly — seizures may return

Interactions

MAOI antidepressants — stop at least 14 days before
nefazodone — must not be combined
tricyclic antidepressants — do not use if sensitive to them
do not mix the liquid with other liquid medicines

Pregnancy: can harm the baby — do not stop suddenly; specialist advice
