Clinical information

Common uses

  • wet age-related macular degeneration (eye injection)

Common side effects

  • bleeding on the white of the eye

Cautions

  • eye infection or retinal detachment can occur after injection
  • eye pressure may rise shortly after injection
  • possible risk of blood clot events (VEGF inhibition)
  • not for use with eye infections

Pregnancy: only if clearly needed — may pose risk to the baby
