- KRAS G12C-mutated non-small cell lung cancer
- KRAS G12C-mutated colorectal cancer (with cetuximab)
Common side effects
- feeling sick and vomiting
- diarrhoea
- tiredness
- muscle and bone pain
- decreased appetite
Cautions
- severe gut side effects — monitored and managed
- can prolong the heart's QT interval — ECG monitoring
- liver damage — regular liver tests
- lung inflammation — report new breathing symptoms
Interactions
- strong CYP3A4 inducers (avoid)
- strong CYP3A4 inhibitors (avoid until steady state)
- sensitive CYP3A4, CYP2C9, CYP2D6 or P-gp substrates (avoid)
- QT-prolonging drugs (avoid)
