Carcharhinus albimarginatus is said to be very aggressive, with individuals often displaying evidence of combat scars, making it potentially dangerous to people. Although rarely seen by divers in the Maldives, there have been regular sightings at two sites in Ari Atoll.

habitat and biology
This species can be found in both nearshore and offshore waters, ranging from the surface to a depth of 800 meters. It feeds on both benthic and pelagic fish, as well as rays and cephalopods. It is viviparous, with a yolk-sac placenta, and typically produces 1 to 11 offspring per litter, usually 5 to 6.
